Social engineering was personal long before it became our work.
How GhostEye began.
“The story doesn’t start with me. It starts with my mom.”
While Eshan’s mother was in medical school, a caller claiming to be from the IRS threatened her with deportation unless she shared personal information. Fraudulent loans were taken out in her name. She was unable to finish her degree.
That experience brought Eshan into security. Years later, he wanted to focus his work on the kind of attack that had hurt his family.
During a long conversation with his mother on his birthday, he decided to leave his job and start a company focused on social engineering. That decision became GhostEye.
The reason still shapes the work.
We built GhostEye to help security teams understand how impersonation and pressure can lead to access, and what needs to change to stop it.
