GhostEye at BSides Harrisburg 2026

GhostEye founder Mohammad Eshan spoke at BSides Harrisburg 2026 about his path into offensive security, from bypassing anti-bot systems to red teaming.

From Pokemon Cards to Red Teams

Mohammad Eshan, founder and CEO of GhostEye, joined the Red Team Track at BSides Harrisburg on May 29, 2026. His talk, “From Pokemon Cards to Red Teams: An Accidental Career in Offensive Security,” traced his route into the field.

In his announcement, Eshan highlighted bypassing anti-bot systems as an early part of that story. The session brought a personal perspective to offensive security: how curiosity about the way systems work can become a career testing their defenses.

A community worth coming back to

After the conference, Eshan reflected on the people and conversations that made BSides Harrisburg stand out. His recap emphasized the informal, welcoming atmosphere and the connections made throughout the event.
